7. Product Transparency & Supply Chain Certification
Product-Level Transparency
For our workwear and PPE ranges we hold verified fabric composition, recycled content and country of manufacture data for every product line, cross-checked against manufacturer specifications and, where relevant, confirmed directly with our supplier partners. This detail is available on request for any product on quote or tender.
Supply Chain Certification
Across our supplier base we track factory-level audit certification including GRS (Global Recycled Standard), OEKO-TEX STeP, SEDEX SMETA, WRAP and Amfori BSCI. Certification coverage varies by product line and is confirmed as part of our sourcing process.
8. Circular Economy & Carbon Reduction
End-of-Life Garment Recycling
We operate an end-of-life garment recycling programme in partnership with Avena, giving customers a route to responsibly dispose of retired workwear and uniform stock rather than sending it to landfill.
Carbon Reduction Plan
BAS 1 Group holds ISO 14001:2015 environmental management certification and operates a Carbon Reduction Plan aligned to a Net Zero 2050 commitment, covering energy consumption, waste and sustainable procurement across our operations.
By adopting and implementing this Environmental & Sustainability Policy, Bas 1 Embroidery & Printing Limited T/A Bas 1 Group aims to make a positive contribution to the environment and ensure a sustainable future for generations to come.
